Ninjas

Have you ever heard of a ninja? Maybe you've seen one lurking in a back alleyway somewhere or on top of your roof.... well, in my first real blog I've decided to educate you more on ninja's. First, i will describe to you what a ninja is. Then, i will show you some examples of what a real life ninja looks like. After that, well... I'm not sure yet.
One may wonder, what exactly is a ninja?
A ninja or shinobi is a covert agent or mercenary of feudal Japan specializing in unorthodox arts of war. The functions of the ninja included espionage, sabotage, infiltration, and assassination, as well as open combat in certain situations. The ninja, using covert methods of waging war, were contrasted with the samurai who had strict rules about honor and combat. (compliments of Wikipedia)
Now that you know what a ninja is, you might be wondering... "what does a ninja look like?" or "how can you tell if someone you know is a ninja?" here are some pictures that will hopefully help you better identify what a ninja looks like.

here we have a young ninja in training.  In this photo he is practicing his karate chop.
this is a ninja  right before he is about to destroy something or someone... if you ever see this look in someone's eyes.... run, just run!
This is a ninja on crack...
this ninja is about to slice someone's head off! YIKES!

and finally, we have a ninja pulling off his mad skills. we call this the drop kick... i saved the best for last!

well, there you have it. I hope you have been better educated on what a ninja is and what they look like. they are often not the stereotypical male dressed in all black with only his eyes showing. ninja's often look like your average Joe across the street who sips coffee and eats chips (organic of course).  So, just be on the look out and if you ever come across someone who you think might be a ninja, run away as fast as you can... or play dead, since he'll probably catch you if you run.
